DESIGN OF EXPERIMENTS

What is Design of Experiments?

Teal Lines.png

Design of Experiments (DOE) is used to compare different variables across a manufacturing process to determine the most effective means of production.  DOE allows us to measure specific dimensions for multiple parts created through different processes and make comparisons between them. DOE can be an effective tool teams can use to determine best practices for manufacturing or even as a tool to identify potential problems within an existing process.

How It Works

An experiment aims at predicting the outcome by introducing a change of preconditions. This is represented by one or more independent variables that is hypothesized to result in a change of one or more dependent variables.
