What is an Annual Part Inspection?

Annual Part Inspections (API) are yearly full part inspections based on print requirements in order to affirm the dimensional integrity of a part. Over time, dimensional qualities of a part can change due to tooling wear, process changes, or supplier changes etc. APIs are used to ensure the longevity and integrity of the manufacturing process and provide the assurance that all of your parts continue to be manufactured to the same standard.
